About Us

Vali’s Custom Cakes, owned by Vali and Earl Lameman, operate out of Phoenix Metro and Red Mesa, AZ.

About Vali:  A Design Engineer in aerospace field by day and a cake designer by night and weekends, I enjoy decorating cakes with immeasurable passion and enthusiasm.  Our goal in our cake venture is to make our cakes as entirely edible as possible and creating unique & breathtaking designs.

As an Engineer, at times I find myself applying techniques and design from an Engineer’s perspective.  Always looking for ways to implement structure, edible mechanisms and functionality into our designs.

I run marathons and ultra relays, love extreme hiking and mountain bike for sports interest and also have a career as a fashion model.  Running races has taken me across our beautiful country—love to travel and see places I’ve never seen before.

I am originally from Littlewater, UT.  Born of the Red House People and born for the Necklace People.

About Earl:  My partner, is an Information Technology whiz and an artist. He is a sculptor and renders in oil, acrylic, and water color.  His skills as a renderer is proven on fondant as a canvas, as well as sculpting custom toppers for our cakes.  Very detailed oriented.

Earl works for a public school as an IT director.  You will most likely find him volunteering at a high school game, or running the trails.

Earl is from Red Mesa, AZ.

We travel for weddings throughout the state of Arizona and into Utah and New Mexico.

We tailor to ethnic traditions and cultural events as well as creating Gothic designs on our cakes.
